ABOUT US

For over 45 years, RW Moore has been privileged to serve Eastern North Carolina. We are successful because of the combined efforts of our outstanding service and sales staff.

RW Moore Equipment Company was founded in January of 1962. Mr. Moore made the decision to move from construction contractor to John Deere Dealer. When he returned from WWII as a gunner in the Air Force, Mr. Moore started his own grading company. RW Moore Grading Company built many of the roads within the Duke University Campus. After 18 years, Mr. Moore decided to move from construction contractor to John Deere dealer and RW Moore Equipment Company has been providing superior service to contractors throughout Eastern North Carolina ever since.

Dan Moore
President

Dan is the President of RW Moore Equipment Company. He drives the vision and plans the strategy of the company. He had worked at RW Moore since he was a child, and has been with the company for over 20 years. He strives to continue to make RW Moore the type of company that provides unbeatable value and service for their customers. He values every relationship with his customers and employees, and is dedicated to making each customer's experience with RW Moore a pleasant and rewarding one. Dan serves on the Board of Directors for North State Bank and is a certified Pilot.


Worth Goodwin
HR Manager

Worth is the HR Manager of RW Moore Equipment Company. He is in charge of, Individual employee development and training, Personnel policies creation, communication, and enforcement, Facilities management, Customer & special event management. He has been in the industry for over 35 years and had been with RW Moore for 26 years. He is a two-time recipient of the John Deere Legendary Service Award, past member of the Advisory committee for Wake Technical College and a supporter and member of the NC Forestry Association. As a member of the Garner Chamber of Commerce, Worth has been the past chairman of the Education committee, past chairman of the Capital Investments committee and member of the Street Planning committee.


Greg Browning
Forestry Sales Manager

Greg is the Forestry Sales Manager for RW Moore Equipment Company. He oversees and manages all aspects of the Forestry sales department. Through his 15 years with RW Moore, Greg has held various positions such as customer support supervisor, service clerk, sales coordinator, sales representative, used equipment manager and major account manger. Greg has successfully completed the Dimensions of Professional Selling and Results Producing Leadership programs.


Bill Hoyle
General Parts Manager

Bill is the General Parts Manager for RW Moore.  As the General Parts Manager, Bill will be responsible for departmental forecasting, planning, organizational structure, staffing, and operations.  Bill comes to RW Moore with 23 years of experience as branch operations Manager for J.W. Burress in Raleigh where he was involved with the daily functions of the parts, service, and sales departments.  Prior to joining J.W. Burress, Bill spent 12 years at Mitchell Distributing Company where he was a parts manager.

Greg Terjesen
General Service Manager

Greg is the General Service Manager of RW Moore Equipment Company. As the newest member of the management team Greg is charged with expanding our overall service base through our branches and field service personnel. Having worked with dealers and OEM’s in the construction and forestry industries his entire career, he is committed to taking our service organization to the next level; to satisfy the needs of our customers, regardless of product brand and type, or what day of the week it is. He is truly carrying out the vision of our company’s founder.


Alex Bullard
General Sales Manager

Alex has been with RW Moore Equipment Company for 10 years. He is responsible for the construction salesmen in their everyday activities. It is our goal to make sure that the customer is satisfied throughout their relationship with R W Moore Equipment Company. Alex is also a full time pastor. He has been the pastor of Grace Fellowship Church in Clayton for 5 years.


Austin Robertson

Austin has grown up in the construction industry and brings a vast array of experience with him to RW Moore. He began working with his father when he was 12 in the building and grading business. He then worked in the equipment rental business with Sunbelt Rentals and then as a compact sales representative with Triangle Equipment.


Stephen Sliwinski
Rental Manager

Stephen is the Rental Manager for R.W. Moore Equipment Company. Although he is new to construction equipment, Stephen brings over five years of rental experience and rental collections to R.W. Moore. He has a complete understanding of the rental market and adjusts rates so R.W. Moore remains competitive. If it is not in our rental fleet, he'll find it elsewhere so that the customer can get up and running.


Judy Johnson
Credit Manager


"I enjoy being involved in the development and maintenance of customer relationships through finance."

Judy is the Credit Manger for RW Moore Equipment Company. She manages the company's extension of credit for customers and the collection of accounts. Judy has been with RW Moore for 29 years. She has 35 years of experience in finance and has won several finance volume awards from Deere.


Doug Queen
Controller

Doug is the Controller for R.W. Moore Equipment Company and manages the financial accounting responsibilities. Doug is a licensed CPA and came to R.W. Moore with more than 18 years of progressive accounting experience primarily in manufacturing and construction.
