ABOUT US

For over 45 years, RW Moore has been privileged to serve Eastern North Carolina. We are successful because of the combined efforts of our outstanding service and sales staff.

RW Moore Equipment Company was founded in January of 1962. Mr. Moore made the decision to move from construction contractor to John Deere Dealer. When he returned from WWII as a gunner in the Air Force, Mr. Moore started his own grading company. RW Moore Grading Company built many of the roads within the Duke University Campus. After 18 years, Mr. Moore decided to move from construction contractor to John Deere dealer and RW Moore Equipment Company has been providing superior service to contractors throughout Eastern North Carolina ever since.

Dan Moore
President

Dan is the President of RW Moore Equipment Company. He drives the vision and plans the strategy of the company. He had worked at RW Moore since he was a child, and has been with the company for over 20 years. He strives to continue to make RW Moore the type of company that provides unbeatable value and service for their customers. He values every relationship with his customers and employees, and is dedicated to making each customer's experience with RW Moore a pleasant and rewarding one. Dan serves on the Board of Directors for North State Bank and is a certified Pilot.


Bill Hoyle
General Parts Manager

Bill is the General Parts Manager for RW Moore.  As the General Parts Manager, Bill will be responsible for departmental forecasting, planning, organizational structure, staffing, and operations.  Bill comes to RW Moore with 23 years of experience as branch operations Manager for J.W. Burress in Raleigh where he was involved with the daily functions of the parts, service, and sales departments.  Prior to joining J.W. Burress, Bill spent 12 years at Mitchell Distributing Company where he was a parts manager.

Wil Massengill
General Sales Manager


Wil is the General Sales Manager for RW Moore.  As the General Sales Manager, Wil will be responsible for departmental forecasting, planning, organizational structure, staffing, and operations.  Wil joined RW Moore in 2001, as a Salesman. Prior to joining RW Moore, Wil worked for Hertz Equipment Rental Corp for 7 years, and Prime Equipment for 4 years.



Alex Bullard
General Service Manager

Alex has been with RW Moore Equipment Company for 14 years.  It is our goal to make sure that the customer is satisfied throughout their relationship with R W Moore Equipment Company. Alex is also a full time pastor. He has been the pastor of Grace Fellowship Church in Clayton for 8 years.


Judy Johnson
Credit Manager


"I enjoy being involved in the development and maintenance of customer relationships through finance."

Judy is the Credit Manger for RW Moore Equipment Company. She manages the company's extension of credit for customers and the collection of accounts. Judy has been with RW Moore for 29 years. She has 35 years of experience in finance and has won several finance volume awards from Deere.


Doug Queen
Controller

Doug is the Controller for R.W. Moore Equipment Company and manages the financial accounting responsibilities. Doug is a licensed CPA and came to R.W. Moore with more than 18 years of progressive accounting experience primarily in manufacturing and construction.
